Chrome Extension
The Review Reply Generator Chrome extension works locally in its popup. Users manually paste review text into the popup, and reply drafts are generated locally in the extension.
The extension does not read visited websites, access Google accounts, read or modify Google Business Profile pages, monitor reviews, or auto-post replies. It does not store review text or send review text entered in the extension to external servers.
The extension requests only the clipboardWrite permission. It writes a generated draft to the clipboard only when the user clicks a Copy button. The extension does not read clipboard content.
Separate Web App And Extension
The web app account, usage, analytics, and payment flows are separate from the local extension. The extension does not sign users in, synchronize account usage, start checkout, or receive web app subscription data.
Web App Account Data
When you create an account, we collect your email address, a password hash, session information, and usage records needed to apply monthly generation limits. We do not store plain-text passwords.
Web App Review Text
When a guest or signed-in user generates replies in the web app, review text and optional business details are sent to the application server so it can generate drafts and enforce monthly generation limits.
Review Management does not intentionally save submitted review text or generated reply bodies in its application database. Hosting and network providers may process request data as needed to operate their infrastructure under their own terms. Do not submit private, sensitive, medical, legal, financial, or confidential information that is not needed for a public review reply draft.
Privacy-Conscious Analytics
We use first-party analytics events to understand basic product usage, such as page views, generation attempts, signups, logins, pricing views, and checkout intent. Analytics events are designed not to store review text, generated reply bodies, emails, passwords, payment details, IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or secrets.
Payment Processing
Paddle is the current production payment provider for paid subscriptions. Paddle may process payment details, billing information, transaction records, subscription status, invoices, and related checkout data under its own privacy terms. Review Management receives provider identifiers and subscription status needed to manage plan access, but does not store full card numbers.
Service Providers And Data Locations
We use service providers for hosting, managed Postgres database storage, payment processing, and support needed to operate the service. Those providers may process data through their infrastructure and according to their own terms. We do not claim a specific processing region where the provider documentation does not establish one.
No Sale Of Personal Data
We do not sell personal data.
Cookies And Sessions
The web app uses an httpOnly session cookie to keep users signed in and protect account access. Guests receive a signed, httpOnly cookie containing only the current month and generation count so the three-generation guest limit can be enforced. The web app also uses a first-party anonymous analytics identifier cookie for privacy-conscious product events. You can control cookies in your browser, but disabling them may prevent account or guest-generation features from working correctly.
